Girls (not the TV show, or the gender necessarily! the band!!!!)

Lately I've been really into the band Girls! It's too bad they broke up before I listened to their first album (Album, 2009) in whole and melted from the bubbly/dreamy lo-fi mess of tunes.

 

 

Sometimes they remind me of The Beatles a slight bit, and sometimes The Beach Boys a bit more. But most of the time, they remind me of long summer days spent outside doing everything and nothing.

P.S. Their music videos are super pretty!!!!!
