sumahhh
Here are a few pics I took while in Minnesota this summer.
There's something about the Midwest that is completely different than the west coast that I can't quite put a finger on.
I've already posted a few of these on my flickr, and will slowly be adding more. I'm still learning how to use my canon so I'm not completely in love with these but I'm having a lot of fun with it!

Mirai Chan by Kotori Kawashima
These photos by photographer Kotori Kawashima of his friend's daughter are absolutely mesmerizing! Each picture is filled with such vibrancy exuding from the girl, and the colors around her.
The pictures are compiled in a book called "Mirai-Chan," which seems to not be sold in the US (where I am located). Maybe one day I'll splurge on it on amazon, but for now I'll have to keep to gazing (and smiling) at the beautiful pictures on the internet.

City of Angels
I just got back from LA with my family and man, was it weird! I loved it!

I wore this to explore with my mom. I actually wear this outfit a lot, with different sweaters depending on the weather. I love comfortable fashion! This photo was taken across the street from a shop called The Dogshow which was one of my favorite finds of the vacation.
It was so beautiful! All sorts of funky clothes were strewn over pastel furniture and cool trinkets lay everywhere. In the middle, like a hip, purple nucleus, a violet decorated TV resided, and the owner lounged in front of it on a similarly colored couch. 16 and Pregnant was on. These photos barely give the ethereal experience any justice.
We did many other touristy things, like going to Universal Studios, or Grauman's Chinese Theatre, which I really enjoyed, but what I liked best was walking around (which actually proved to be more difficult than one would think- seems you have to drive to find anything ) and checking out these cool places along the way.

spring favs
I'm totally in love with Giant Drag's latest album, "Waking Up is Hard
to Do." I was introduced to the band by Rookie, naturally, and it's been
a non stop listening fest since.

A few favorites:
"90210"
"We Like The Weather"
"Garbage Heart"
The whole album is really sweet and pop-y but also snarly and moan-y. If that makes sense.
In other news, I'm also totally in love with my bed. Spring break 2013!!!!

dawgz
I'm so into these photos by Joe Coscarelli from the Westminster Dog Show.
I can't help but wonder if these dogs are having a good time. I wish there was a show like "Toddler's and Tiaras" about dog show dogs, but I guess animal mind-reading technology would have to be developed first for it to be really worth watching. Pageant Pups, anyone?
